Tinha aqui prometido mostrar os tesouros que trouxe da antiga Retrosaria que fechou numa cidade próxima... Aqui estão eles... Porque os considero tesouros? Além de praticamente já não se encontrarem no mercado, são rendas, fitas, gregas, linhas, botões, todos made in Portugal e quase todos nas suas embalagens originais... Com a veia de coleccionadora que tenho e com o respeito que consagro às coisas antigas que antes por cá se produziam, dificilmente vou utilizar alguma destas peças, penso que permanecerão na caixa dos tesouros de outrora...
I promised here to show you some pictures of the treasures I brought home from the old haberdashery that closed in a town near by... Here they are... Why are they treasures to me? Adding to the fact that we almost can't find them for sale, they are laces, thread, buttons, all made in Portugal many years ago and almost all of them in the original package... With my collector's vein and the big respect I have for everything we used to produce in my country, hardly I will use them, instead I think they will be safely kept in my formerly stuff box...
