African Flower Blanket

...
First, I made a flower, just to see if I liked ... Not only did I liked it, as I was excited! Then I went to the store and bought new yarn ... That's one step that is always fun, being the only negative aspect the effect of weightlessness on the wallet, but that's not important when you return home wanting to start something new...

...
I can not remember when I started... I can only tell that I had started by this time... I was making a flower now, then another, and so on ... The mountain was growing ...

...
Then I started joining them ... Always the same rhythm ... One now, then another, and so on, building bit by bit a new fabric ...

...
One day (by the end of last summer) I finished and the result was this ...

Terminada! / Finished!

...
Finally got some time to stop by! These long absences are never planned ... It's the rhythm of days and work that keep me away ... By the end of the day, I do not really feel like being back to the computer, so I have enjoyed the evenings and have been finishing a few things... The hexagons blanket is done! Do you like it?

It is colorful, without a doubt! The bright colors will certainly cheer the gray days next winter!

Patchwork de Lã! / Wool Patchwork!

...
The first square was crocheted way before this blog was born... Only the evenings of very cold days made me want to work with wool... As this winter has been just a little bit more fresh, I finished it...
Quentinho e aconchegante!

Flores para o meu jardim! / Flowers for my garden!

...
Where does time go? It's been a long time without blogging, but, unfortunately, work comes first... So, not much crafting going on... The few spare minutes from last month have been devoted to this project... Two cushions for the porch chairs, where I used crochet and embroidery ("grilhão" stitch)... They were finished just on time to be used, thanks to the warm Autumn we've been having... They're already in my favorite corner...

Do Fim-de-semana / From the Weekend
